Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. She's appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish writer and actor. Her birth date was March 16th 1984. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011 after playing small roles that she acted in Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. In 2012, she was frequently appearing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. She began appearing regularly on panel shows after winning an award for The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She was only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who killed himself when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also took on the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea was raised alongside her sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, and a former professional racer. The family was passionate about horses and races. As a young girl, Bea was an assistant tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early stage that she was not interested in the racing industry for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
